I don't know about any movies shot there but I would figure there have to be a few. I tried to google, but came up with nothing. I would figure maybe some crime or war movies possibly.

jem, I have also looked but can't seem to find anything. Could be due to the violence in the Philippines or risk of picpocketers. I am sure there are some movies, but I came to a dead end.

I know for a fact that "Platoon" was shot in the Philippines. So is "Apocalypse Now", a few scene in "Born on the Fourth of July", "American Ninja", "Missing in Action III", "Children of Anloc", "Sayonara". Sorry FoxyLady, I resent your comment and I'm sure that its just your personnal opinion, about "Could be due to the violence in the Philippines or risk of picpocketers." (Which is spelled "Pick-pockets, by the way") As there are a lot of mugging in America than there is in the Philippines. And there has never been a report of looting in the Philippines when there are riots which usually never happens anyway but only in times of civil unrest due to political oppression. As compared to the numerous reports looting and gang riots in America. I would like to point out that crime happens anywhere in the world. Please get your facts straight before making comments like that. As it sounds very discriminating and condescending as you generalize the country.
