I have a friend that is Filipino and she can eat rice for breakfast, lunch, and dinner because she is used to eating it in the Philippines. I don't really like rice, and have not even noticed, but are there different variations of how they make the rice so it doesn't become monotonous. Trackbacks

Yum rice! Well I would assume there's all sorts of different spices to add to the rice to make it taste different. Also there's different types of rice. Like grain, black rice and so on. But the spices definitely would do wonders also sometime people add chicken and fish to it. I dunno about philippine-style rice though.

And if you eat brown rice it would be good for you too!

My question is, in the Philippines the prices of rice varies. Why is there such a huge variation in price. I thought white rice was white rice. Does it have something to do with size of the grain?

Are you sure it's only for white rice? It would make sense if white rice was a certain amount, while brown rice was something else and seasoned rice was at another price and so on. Just like how it is at our local grocery store, they all come in a variety of prices right?
