SOPS™ is an abbreviation of SALES ORDER PROCESSING SYSTEM, a customized Software which helps Maintaining the Information Related to (FIR) Final Inspection Report in Quality Assurance, Packing List in Packing Dept and (DC) Delivery Challan in Despatch.

SOPS is Indigenously Developed For ANNAPURNA Foils And Later Implemented in KALWA Foils Conversion Unit.

The Objective behind Implementing the System in the Groups Different Foil Units was to have a Business Solution That could be integrated with Different Conversion Units and Their Manufacturing Systems and save time & Cost. The basic business processes of the SOPS Module are as Follows.

The “SOPS” is an Integrated System. Though it is indigenously developed software using “Oracle Database, Forms and Reports” but it has got all the essence of being an Indigenous resource to Oracle Financials ERP as available in the Global Market.

The Process Flow of “SOPS” is as Follows

New Item Code is generated by Quality Assurance Department, This is Generated depending upon Specification of the finished product From Marketing Department, The Item Code Details are first entered here in Product Master Form and Then Used Through out.

Sales Orders are Generated By Marketing Department on getting leads from customer and From Head offices in Different locations in India like Bangalore, Hyderabad, Calcutta, Delhi and Mumbai, These Personnel also Schedule Delivery-Date for Goods Depending on Lead-Time of the product to manufacture Goods.

Post Production, Quality Assurance Department Inspects Finished Goods, The Goods Detail are entered in the Final Inspection Report (FIR), Details Entered are Total no of Reels in the Set, and the Total Number of Reels accepted or rejected.

In the Next Stage, The Goods accepted are packed and a Packing Slip Referencing the FIR Number to which this packing list belongs is displayed. Each box will have a packing slip and all those Packing Slip from a single FIR will be in the same Packing list.

Finally Despatch Department ships goods to the customer, for this Activity, Despatch Gets the Packing list of Goods Packed and Ready for Despatch. From the Packing List, and Depending Upon The Scheduled Delivery Date, Despatch Generates Excise Invoice Cum DC (Delivery Challan) for the Specified Customer.

Logging in SOPS is Done Based On Organisation Codes,Orgn Code Refers to Code for the Regional office which has booked the order, For Example, on choosing 2302 as the Orgn Code,Loads in the Form Only Those Customers Details Which are in the Hyderabad office Region only and not for the Whole of India. Each User is also given an Emp Code, Username and Password for Security purpose.

Finished Goods Report(Opening,Production For The Month,Despatch,Closing).

Drill Down Finished Goods(FG To Packing List(product Wise)).

Age Wise Finished Goods Analysis Report.

Worked on upgrading the code from 11.5.7,11.5.9,11.5.10 and currently working on this project for a sony client.

Triniti Lot Start: Worked on creating custom forms where Data from planning is inserted into Staging Tables and pushed into Oracle Shop Floor manager. The Extesion fits in where the user has to trace back the wafers from which the dies are supplied to assembly line and facilitates the shop floor personnel to adjust the die input at the last movement. The Extension is implemented at SGS (Sony Corp).The extension includes custom forms to push the plan information into OSFM and custom reports for the summary of the die allocated for the production lines. Was a Team member in the development and responsible for creating the end to end test cases for the extension.

Legacy system conversion to Oracle Apps 11i:Created PL/SQL procedure for items and BOM conversion which calls Oracle interface and puts the data into base tables for a sony client in Japan.

Worked on enhancements to custom forms in Oracle Shop Floor Management for the Die Management unit of SONY Corp.
