Relocation costs to Bucharest,

Hi everyone,

I'm working as an HR manager for an Israeli company. My company is thinking of relocating an Israeli to start up a consumer goods operation in Romania, the chosen place being Bucharest. Does anybody know what the cost of living is in Bucharest per month?

apart from that, what is the cost of a rental car? education? apartment?

Any information would help,

Thanks,

Maya

Hi,

I am a researcher for an overseas property tv show and we are looking at doing some filming in Bucharest. I would love to speak (both on and off camera)to some British expats who have made the big move across to Bucharest, their reasons for doing so, whether they recommend Bucharest to others who are considering it etc

Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks,

Raina

Dear All,

Can someone (preferably native) tell me how much would a small apartment (one-room suite) cost per month in Bucharest. It doesn't have to be in the center, but for sure gotta be in a good area.

Also I will need some guidance how to find one, are there any agencies/brokers that may help and what is the average commission fee rate?

Also what is the regular prepayment required, how many months ahead?

Thanks a lot in advance.

I am a student at carol davila university of medicine and pharmacy!!

I need a very cheap apartment, closer to the university the better it is! but do not mind going further away from the university!!

All what counts is money!

I need this apartment for about 6 months, and I may extend it if i like the place!!

I know that finding a well designed and affordable home specifically built for families is no doubt one of the largest and most important challenges confronting anyone looking to settle into a life in Romania.

The owners and directors of South Pacific, one of Bucharest leading developers, felt the same way, especially having children attending school in the North Bucharest area. With that in mind, it became a virtual mission for us to develop a boutique yet affordable, stylish and high quality family housing project in Pipera area.

The result is something truly unique as there are only 10 superbly appointed homes available. All have generous, well planned interiors with large open entertaining areas, timber floors, and deep wool carpets and customized open plan Italian kitchens. Particular attention was paid to ensuring each home has the creature comforts we all enjoy like state of the art appliances, air-conditioning, private landscaped gardens and private access roads all within minutes from the Baneasa shopping complex and local schools. The aim was to create a private family neighborhood and that is exactly what we have achieved.

It’s important to understand that we will not be offering this product through an agent as we are serious about looking for the right people to come and live in this special development.

For more information contact Oana at oana@southpacific.ro or at (40) 747 507 259
