Do not be fooled by ex-pat guys who claim to be soooooo reliable and helpful. I am not saying local agents are better, but they are easier to spot. I have worked for an Irish jerk and I have proof that he is deceiving all his clients by adding 20% to each property he sells. His way of doing it is: he places a deposit on the property and he resells the property for a new price, of course higher. He is so low that he is telling clients some interesting properties are not interesting at all cause he says if he can't make 15k for him out of a deal, it's not worth it. Anyone interested to know more about dealing with these guys, contact me. I have plenty of evidence. Also feel free to contact for any information you want regarding the real estate market in Transylvania.

Obviously check prices, etc with many real estate companies to get a feel for what's what... especially if one property is listed by more than one company.

Hi Bubba, if things would be so easy as to solve them through a few clicks and check-outs on the internet business would be so honest and transparent and people would not get burnt. Yet the reality is so much different...
