Is Iasi in Moldavia less expensive than Bucaresti??

Or perhaps Cluj or Alba Julia?

We're thinking of retiring near the monasteries there to help the people.

I would suggest to take a look at the inexpensive Braila( on the Danube River, it has a monastery in Lacul Sarat, people would need lots of help in the area), or the beautifull Brasov (in the mountains, more affluent area).Email me for details if you stil have questions.

I am an American citizen currently in Romania and I just retired on my social security. I am settled in and I have my own place to live with Romanians who are my heart adopted family...2 young boys with no family and I have been careing for them long distance for 4 years now. I wish to stay here and retire here. I am having great difficulty finding out what I have to do to get a domicile here. Can anyone help me find out what I have to do? My legal 90 day stay limit is fast arriving and I do not want to go home.
