I too as so interested in the old traditional Samoan Peach, Fruit Cocktail Pie. Is that the one that used to be baked in the 9X13 pans with like custard fruit filling? Yummmy!!! Please email me...THANK YOU !!!
I'm also interested in the pineapple filled 1/2Moon Pie. Does anyone have that? Fa'afetai tele lava!!!

hey, are you in luck!!! I so have that recipe from my great grandmother twice removed. She whispered it in my ear while she was on her death bed. She said it was some big secret, whatever!
Everybody and their mother already had the recipe. Okay... so here it is...
ingredients
5 peaches (diameter of 4 inches) or 5 peaches with a 2 inch radius
1 cup of milk
2 1/43 cups of flour (if you don't measure it exactly, it just won't turn out!)
2 tbs. of lard
3 tbs. of butter
3 cups of fruit cocktail
1 feather (for garnish of course)
1 cup of sugar
1 more cup of sugar
2 cups of sugar is what you should have up to this point in the recipe
1 can of peach pie filling (lg can)
1 premade crust by your great grandmoter twice removed
there you have it. I think that's everything. It is so unbelievingly good that it's practically not real.

Could some body out there help me with the recipe for homemade samoan fruit pies, especially the pineapple...my mouth is watering for them, I have no recipe.Thankyou sooo much!!
