we are looking at property in montenegro as a possible second home and we need advice on the best areas. We have two children age 8 and 6 and need to know if there are any english speaking expat schools in the area, we are looking at the Kotor vacinity. Can anyone tell us how lifestyle is over there and how they have settled, how have they found the locals etc ? How difficult is it to pick up the language and are there lessons available ? Look forward to hearing from anyone who can offer any comments. Trackbacks

Hi Holly, they arn't any ex-pat schools in the area at present. Though I do know of a couple who have recently moved here and thier children have settled in nicely at a local school similar ages to your own. Children living locally are taught english at a young age.How hard the language to pick up is relevant to the individuals desire to learn, like anything, although the language is finetic so that makes thinkgs easier (sounds mostly likes it's spelt). The only lessons available are with private tutors.
