Peter Warren. Financial services experience – 1986 to 2002/3

• 1986. Bought rights to start up Cape Town agency “Compushare”. Small educational institution dealing in one-year correspondence courses designed to teach stock market investments to public. Lectured Technical Analysis Damelin College.

• 1989. Moved to Jhb to take 49% share in National Trust portfolio management Company. Exec Director. Attended courses J.S.E. brokers examinations - Incorporating investments 1, 2, and 3 and J.S.E. rules and regulations.

• 1990. Approached Registrar of Financial Institution for trading licence for asset Management. (Financial Services Board). Gained approval to commence business as approved portfolio manager under Stock Exchange Control Act 1980

• Formed First Financial Group. Incorporating First Financial Equities, First Financial Futures and First Financial Technologies. Applied again to registrar for trading approval under the Financial Markets Control Act. Approved.

• Used derivative instruments to hedge portfolios and operated futures trading desks.

• Built private client portfolios to over three hundred million Rand. Headed up a team of 12 professionals.

• 1996. Approached by New Republic Bank for “buy-out” and management contract.

• 1996-2000 Managing Director. New Republic Bank Asset Management division. Build client book to over R 900 Million. Worked with Corporate Finance division. Listed two Companies on the J.S.E. 2000. (New listings boom) as sponsoring brokers.

• 2002 NRB attempted BEE deal, which failed. Bank went into curatorship. Bought back portfolio management operation (book of R360 million) and on sold to PSG group. Currently listed on the J.S.E. Completed 6 months courses C.F.P (Chartered Financial Planner) when the bank went into Curatorship. Did not write the exams.

• Left Financial Services Industry in 2002/3 to develop Tala Valley Citrus Estates in Natal. R 23 million development.

• Development Land Claimed 2005. Claim settled November 2008.

Hi

My husband and I would like to bring our Business in Seychelles. (Architectural Mill work )

Been in business since 1997.

We would like to know how easy is it to rent or purchase an Industrial building around 11, 000 sqf.

Also if you don't mind me asking is there a lot of mill work company down there.Manufacturing for hotels , Restaurant, Stores , offices, hospital, clinic, school.
