North Augusta

North Augusta is a wonderful place to retire or raise a family. It is directly across the Savannah River from Augusta, Georgia (where the Masters golf tournament is played). If you are considering a move to South Carolina, consider North Augusta. The medical facilities are fantastic because Augusta has five excellent hospitals. I am originally from Connecticut and my husband is from Michigan. We have raised our children in North Augusta and family members plan to retire here soon. Some already have. We are about three hours from Atlanta, from the mountians, and from the beaches. Perfect!
