Clarence E. Causey III (64.203.244.82) -
This is a shot in the dark, but I guess it's worth a try. My name is Clarence E. Causey III, and my father's name was Clarence E. "Slick" Causey Jr. I recently bought what remained of my dad's old farm. We are located in Hampton County, South Carolina, near Estill, but actually closer to Furman (pop 300). While I was in the Navy, my dad auctioned off most of his old equipment, I think around 1987 or 1988. Specifically a Farmall Super A, C, 300 and 400, and an old Gleaner E combine and several grain wagons. The grain wagons were made a unseasoned lumber with a auger in a V-bottom, the undercarriage being the chassis of an old truck. I am trying to "restore" a least a portion of the old farm (have two-year old twins) so the children can at least see something of what it was like when I was a kid. Thus, if I could find some of the original equipment to restore, that would be even better. Please call or email with comments and/or suggestions or if you may know where some of this equipment may be available for purchase. Also, all of my dads old farmalls had a single wheel in front, which seems to have been somewhat rare. Thanks for taking the time to read this. Clarence Causey (803)625-3342
