I would like to get some advice about relocating to southern spain with my husband and 7yr old son. Primarily we would like to know about work opportunities for a very experienced painter and decorator. I would like to know where English people have found it most easy to settle, we would like to live somewhere not too busy with a nice friendly community and an English speaking school within easy distance. I know this sounds like a lot but it would help for our initial settling process. I would really appreciate anyones opinion and advice.

want to talk to expats living around Competa, malaga, south spain area. would love to live in this area and very interested in every day life in this area included secondary schools and work. will be visiting the area again in May. just spent xmas in competa. love the slower pace of life and spanish culture.
