I want to buy an English caravan but have a Spanish car. I have been told this is illegal for towing but I cannot find anywhere that tells me how to register a van that does not have registration documents. Does anybody know how?

It comes with a spanish Inaca Awning 3 meteres wide, with abedroom annexe, and al;so all the extras to live in the caravan in spain, or just tour with it. oit is serviced september 2008, and has spare wheel, stabilisers, water carriers, electric cables, cycle rack, gas bottles, blinds and flyscreens to all windows, mirrors, basiclly everything you'll need.

Hi all, If you are looking for a touring caravan, we have a spanish registered caravan (registered to me)at our address in Spain. We have now returned to the UK and are selling the caravan as it is just over the legal width limit for UK roads. It is a Sun Roller Adajio 6 berth, 2006, single axle. It has fixed front double bed, central seating area with two side bunks. Air conditioning and awning. The caravan was purchased in Spain in Dec. I know that the prices in Spain are extremely costly for cars and caravans and this wouldbe an ideal van for anybody wishing to tour or use sited somewhere. If anybody is interested, I can forward some pictures. Delivery to Spain is possible at extra cost. I am looking for around 9000euros or 7700 GBP. Thanks Tony

Hi, We bought a caravan from spanish outlet near Alicante, they do all the paperwork, advise on towbar and fit, speak english, put you in touch with insurers and matriculate. If you live here you should have a spanish registered car. To get an english caravan matriculated is costly and difficult the door is on the wrong side too its just not worth the hassle, friends of ours have given up and are getting spanish. regards

I lived in spain aprox 5 years ago for 10 months, if you buy a spanish owned caravan make sure you get there type of logbook/paperwork with it, if there is no paperwork "DON'T BUY IT" you can end up in court if you do not do things properly, cheers Chris

to the lady who wants to buy a caravan in england and bring it out here. think HARD as you cannot insure an english caravan out here ONLY THIRD PARTY by law.Comprehensive is IMPOSSIBLE.And they wont insure you from england either. We know we have been trying for 2 years to insure ours.We are now going back to england to sell, then buy spanish which they will insure.(we think) • Page 1 (Original Post) •
