Who's been listening to Mil i Maria?

Hi all, my first post so be gentle with me.

I'm just posting to answer a question that will help me with my work. My record label works with a band called Mil i Maria, which features a female vocalist singing mostly in Spanish and Portuguese. I don't know if it's relevant, but she's lesbian and feminist.

Lately we've been getting a lot of MySpace and YouTube hits from the Gulf states, and Saudi Arabia in particular. That makes us very happy - we always wanted to be global.

Thing is - we have no idea why it's happening. We haven't specifically marketed or promoted the album to the area (or anywhere else yet - it's only just finished and won't even be in the shops for another two weeks). Any ideas on why this might be (and what I can do to make it continue)? Thanks for all the interest.
