do so not agree with the name of the bridge that is named the "Adam's Bridge"!Hi i am Rabia and i am 12 years old. I think that Will Adam has no right to name the ancient path after his name. I think India and Sri lanka have the right to name it. Christians sould not be able to have the right to call it the "Adam's Bridge" for we don't call Jesus the Rama God! Infact the bridge should be named after Hanumant. am adding to my comment! Christianty was not even formed at the time! If you do not beilev me than i shall tell you that each stone layed on the path has Rama's name engraved by hanumana and so the bridge should be named after hanumana.

hi all adam has totally done a mistake by putting his name to that most historical and most precious bridge made by the great Indian god “THE RAMA”. I request him please return his name and put the name as “THE GREAT BRIGE OF RAMA ” any way from this date the name is changed. If he is not taken his name he will definitely cursed with the GREAT RAMA. I request you all please call this as above doesn’t call it as adam bridge it is so worst to hear. Thanks for honor me.

i totally disagree with the name "adam's bridge" for that scared bridge. hi my name is Mala Prasad and i live in Guyana-South America and i think that bridge is the one that was built by Hanuman for Lord Rama. Is a shame that they have to take this away from us when they don't even know the importance of that bridge and the purpose it served.

I found the image of this bridge in google search.Nasa observed this image.It's a good news.But matter of regret is in the matter of naming.I know that scientist from Nasa are really scholar but here why they did so i don't know.I think they should take the way of History that says this bridge is made by Hanuman,Nala,Sugriba and lot of Monkey soliders under LORD RAMA to conquer LANKA.I strongly want that this bridge should call "LORD RAMA BRIDGE" because every single stone contains the name of LORD RAMA.

Brothers and Sisters, it doesn't matter what one calls this bridge, as Hindus we believe in Geeta/Ramayana and considers it "the authority" - solid facts of our very ancient and oldest Vedic culture on planet earth, others refer to it a myth. We don't need anyone to accept this bridge or call it a certain name, but it is with faith we continue to value and behold our ancient records and not let others opinion shake our faith.

hello i am mahesh yadav from nepal.It does not matter, who observed the bridge .But the most annoying and discouraging news for glourious hindus is that the bridge should not have named by adam.Since, the bridge has a glorious histoey of hinduism, it should get a name oby a hindu word.it should be nane VARADI, as mentioned religious books.(mahesh yadav, janakpur, nepal)

I do agree with some of the views above, History proves that this story belonged to the hindus, I think a mistake was made in the naming of the bridge, but its hard to see how this was done given the location of it. It does play a significant part in the story of the ramayan and thus to hinduism and i do support the view that the name should be changed. I guess we all agree that the evidence is written and nobody can dispute that .

hi every body.my name is divya, iam 13 years old.i want everybody to know the importance of ramasethu .the rama before several periods went to forest on the order of his father.in the forest in search of sita he want to go to lanka.in order to go to lanka he should build a varadhi between.so then he along with his sainyam started building sethu.and finally he reached lanka and defeated ravana and protected sita from ravana.so it a historical bridge.it is the duty of us to protect that bridge.

Ramsethu issue belongs to India and Sri Lanka.Let us name the bridge according to our historical informaiton, not united kingdom.

the bridge belongs to sri lanka and india and it shows our relation in the history. please belive facts.no history, no human beings.If sri lanka believes ravana birth place and history, what is wrong in believing ramsethu bridge constructed by hanuman.

lets all hindus / converted asians from the hindu faith, shall redeem and accept our ancient philosophy, spirituality , culture and accept the concept of ramayana... where the supreme lord himself came to earth as rama and have shown to the mankind, what is righteous behaviour and the difference between evil and good...

the concept of family, et al.

the concept of RAMA is very real... lets all believe it, if LANKA PUVAT, which is present day SRILANKA, is real, then RAMA is sure a life that lived and blessed this wonderful earth.

Why Adams' bridge??

We hindus have taken it lying down for centuries from various invadors including the brutal british.

Let us stop this softness and stick to our beliefs and culture which is very well documented and authentic. We do not need any certification from any other religion be it believers or non-believer like DMK BOSS.

I am not at all hard religion minded but there is a limit for every thing, we do respect all the religions which is evident from the various religions surviving in our country.

Lets forget the project and pray to Lord Rama to save us and our country by sending Shri Hanuman so that common sense prevails over the stupid leaders and non-believers.
