i would like to find out how to go about getting a visa so we can stay in sri lanka for more than 3 months at a time, onc ewe have retired there.

To purchase a land a foreigner has to pay 100% tax to the Government. Otherwise start a partnership business ans you can buy a property on the business name with out paying tax.

If you want to visit Sri Lanka you can obtain 3 months visa on arrival at the airport. Or else visit Sri Lankan Embassy in your country you can obtain the visa easily.

viewed ur reply abt to start a partnership business. ya, this is the best to avoid 100%taxation by the government! but how to be safe by writing a property on a local business partner? how to secure ourselves? thank you for ur reply in advance!
