'Program/Business Development Officer for NGO in Sudan Needed' Business

IRD Sudan seeks an experienced NGO Project Manager to lead the IRD Upper Nile sub-office based in Malakal in Southern Sudan. IRD is currently implementing several projects in the Upper Nile State supporting returning IDPs and refugees in the Sobat River corridor with a focus on food security, livelihood promotion, and IDP/refugee protection and monitoring.

Candidates should have a minimum of 3 years project management experience with UN, USAID, or other donor funded relief and development projects, preferably in Sudan. Candidates should have a proven track record of conducting assessments, conceptualizing relief and development needs in a post-conflict environment, and successfully developing new projects which respond to donor priorities and developmental needs. The Project Manager will manage and supervise the current field staff of 15. This position will report to the IRD Sudan Country Director based in Juba.
