Could anyone give some information of what living in Arusha is like in terms of housing, schooling, shops, security ect.Are there any expats actually living there?

Hi I am looking at moving to Arusha next year, my partner works up in the mines, I would like some info on what accommodation is available ie a apartment, I have heard you have to pay up front for a year at a time... Anyone out there got ideas on how to go about finding somewhere ??

I am looking at doing volunteer work but would also need some kind of job, is it easy for aussies to get work there ???

Any tips would be great
