Hi there,

I have also been looking in Zanzibar for a year or so, but I always come up against the lease issue. The likelihood is you will only find something with a 33 year lease. Search on Zanzibar Beach House company and you willl find a property development company selling houses off plan.

Frank at My Beach website (www.my-beach.com) has a load of properties for sale (mostly land) and is very helpful.
