Here, in Trinidad and Tobago, we deal with the petroleum and the asphalt industries, as well as many other byproducts which can be attributed to and, or involved with these particular departments of the oil business. These industries started to take off when, back in the nineteen eighties, the country began to produce and sell things like oil, asphalt, natural gas, ammonia fertilizers, urea fertilizers, methanol, iron and even steel.
