I am very sad that my marriage has actually ended because my husband is an alcoholic and a chain-smoker.
I did not realise how bad it was until he came to live with me in the UK in June 07; by December 07 he had gone to Tunisia 'for a holiday to see his family' and did not return to me.
This was due to the arguments regarding his 'habits' and the fact that my family did not like his behaviour and that he loved alcohol and cigarettes more than he loved me.
This has shocked me - more so because I am a teetotler and the fact that I cant understand how a Muslim man or indeed a Muslim Nation can be so obsessed with alcohol and smoking which ruins their health and their relationships!
The fact that my husband has thrown away our marriage for this is unbelievable!!
