we have a journalist here from Melbourne, thank goodness where this champion mare is from his name is Peter Ellis he works for the Melbourne Age newspaperand tips on the radio, worse luck. The horse I am talking about is SErenade Rose she is bred regally and carried all before her in the Spring and then came back and dominated in the Autumn. And Lee Freedman her trainer commented on radio, "she is one of the best fillies I have trained, and I'll put her away now and set her for the Caulfield Cup as her mission, and she should be very hard to beat." Peter ellis on Saturday 2nd 2006 on radio 4Tab made the idiotic statement, that Serenade Rose would not be a serious contender this spring. At 2 Tab's I went to on that day quite a few people were laughing about his comments running down a champion filly. They were saying what asylum has this non descript escaped from. She is the best filly since Light fingers and has the same form lines as that great mare. And our other champion filly Leilani only had slightly inferior form to Serenade Rose. For the record Leilani won the Caulfield Cup by 4 lengths eased down and could have won by another 3. The only thing this maniac does is put down Australian racing.
