The International Court of Justice in The Hague rejected Thursday Argentina’s request to suspend the construction of two pulp mills in Uruguay on the ground that they pose a pollution threat.The court ruled that the construction of the pulp mills posed no serious threat to the environment and could continue while the judges evaluate the potential risks of the pulp plants once they begin operation. Well that's what Uruguay has been saying all along. Uruguay has always contended that its pulp mills are completely safe. Argentina is the one making a fuss.
