"Languages of writings"

Writers who lived on the territory of present Uzbekistan used Arabic and Persian (Farsi)languages. Great Uzbek writer Alisher Navoi (XV century) played a great role in development of modern Uzbek language. He used Farsi too, but most of his works are in Turk language.
