with e-tv gone from ourairwaves in Zimbabwe i have heard a sort of boredom creping in to thevoices of people around me. i don't much care about it cos i don't have a tv to worry about tv entertainment. yet i do not have much entertainment in my personal life.

I have recently entered into a new relationship witha guy who lives out of town.I 'failed' my probation mysteriously (which by the way i was assessed by a panel of 2.. or was it 1?) i don't have a car, no friends within this town worth talking of.so i find myslf asking is there any real entertainment for a broke young woman without a car and/or friends with carsin this 'city' called Gweru in Zimbabwe? The answer is so sad and obvious!

i do not wish to look down upon this city but once you have gone to thethree clubs and sports club, what more can you do? the movie house is showing 'The Animal'! i mean, please! I will not even discuss the state of the seats there... Goodness have mercy on us! i believe the lack of entertainment is what is leading to early marriages and filled churches.. hey, there we go! those arethe two most popular past-time activities around!

how sad, how very sad!
